While my fellow UK TUC delegate Tony was having his first day at the COP (follow his blog here: #COP29 in Baku, Azerbaijan – SusTonybility), I was flying in.

I was also spending hours waiting in Istanbul…

Finally arrived in Azerbaijan to be met by extremely friendly and helpful people at the COP desks and the shuttle buses and once more in a random hotel when I got lost and redirected to the correct one! I was then greeted with a complementary fruit plate!

Got to keep my strength up for tomorrow…..
