Next week I’m off to COP 28 to help my fellow trades union delegates from around the world put the case for a Just Transition to Net Zero. We represent over 200 million workers the world over and we demand action to protect them and their families and communities, social protection, a seat at the table on all talks that affect us relating to climate change and investment to help those most affected by climate change.

As an educator, I believe passionately that children are our greatest resource for the future. Our children and young people, the world over, are demanding quality climate change education. I hope to bring their voices, words and pictures with me to COP 28.
